With today’s announcement of a new structure for NMSU, the Division of Student Success will join the Provost’s organization. This move will more closely integrate our efforts with those of the academic colleges and will support the work we have been doing over the past five years.  Dr. Shoho and I have been working together since before his arrival at NMSU, and we share common goals pertaining to student success, social mobility, and other key projects that involve our Division.  

As you may recall, when the Division moved from reporting to Dr. Floros reporting to Dr. Arvizu, our work to empower, engage, and guide students continued as before.  I look forward to continuing this work with you as we enter a new academic year.
