Congratulations to Graduate Assistant Naheed Shahbaz, who was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Assistant Award for Fall 2023 and Spring 2024! Naheed has been with Campus Tutoring Services since Fall of 2022, where she tutors for graduate level courses for Applied Statistics and advanced statistical courses in Mathematics. Providing office hours in both Campus Tutoring Services and Guthrie Hall, she has been a tremendous addition to the Department of Applied Statistics and to the graduate student body. Naheed was nominated by Campus Tutoring Services and Dr. Robert Steiner, Professor, in Economics and International Business. The partnership between the Graduate School and Campus Tutoring Services has helped the Applied Statistics Department to continue tutoring support for these classes.
