At today’s Founder’s Day picnic, the student-centered approach of the Division of Student Success swept the A Mountain Awards!

The Team Award went to the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership, which is led by Dr. Sarah Edwards and promotes involvement, interpersonal and leadership development, service learning, and civic responsibility.

The Individual Award went to Dr. Marissa Fowler, the Associate Director of the Center for Academic Advising and Student Support. During her 13 years as an Aggie employee, Dr. Fowler has worked with academic advising, university admissions, Aggie Welcome & Orientation, and the Student Success Navigate peer mentoring program.

One highlight: the Division of Student Success has created the Pillars of Excellence award, recognizing staff who exemplify the pillars of Empower–Engage–Guide in their daily work. Nominate a great colleague or yourself via online form.
